Movie Preview - Captain America: The Winter Soldier

     Everyone is deeply immersed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Phase 2 of this movie franchise has been firmly established with the release of Iron Man 3 earlier this summer. With the impending opening of Thor: The Dark World on November 8th, Guardians of the Galaxy next year, and the news of Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron announced during Comic-Con, scheduled for release in 2015, Marvel is on a great role.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

     In this sequel to The Avengers, Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) is living in Washington, D.C. and working with S.H.I.E.L.D. while still trying to adjust to the modern world. When a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague is assaulted, Steve becomes involved in a mystery that could endanger the entire world. Teaming with Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and enlisting The Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Steve works to uncover this terrible plot while fending off hit men but soon encounter a formidable adversary - The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). 

     Co-starring Marvel newcomers Robert Redford (The Last Castle) and Emily VanCamp (Revenge), we also see the return of Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, this next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe certainly looks like an political action thriller that will please Marvel fans and possibly enlist more. Personally, I can't wait to see this!
